CHAMPAIGN (WCIA) -- Illinois quarterback Luke Altmyer still has not been medically cleared to play in Saturday's game against Indiana, per Illini head coach Bret Bielema. Altmyer went down late in last Saturday's win at Minnesota, with back-up John Paddock coming in to lead the team on a game-winning 85-yard drive that included a conversion on 4th and 11. Altmyer remains QB1 but has yet to practice this week, something Bielema said he doesn't necessarily have to do to play on Saturday.

A sudden death in the Monticello community has people rushing to help a family in need.  

WCIA -- Illinois outside hitter Raina Terry is a First Team All-Big Ten selection for the second-straight season. The senior led the conference with 618 points, finishing second in kills with 539. Terry's 4.69 kills per set ranked sixth nationally and second in the league.

(WCIA) -- Eastern Illinois volleyball's historic season came to an end in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Thursday with a straight set loss to No. 6 Marquette, 19-25, 16-25, and 14-25. Making their first appearance in the Big Dance since 2001, the Panthers (28-5) fell behind early in each set to the Golden Eagles (21-10), who used their size advantage to good use posting 11 blocks in the match to EIU's two.

The senior guard is leading the Titans in scoring, assists and steals this season, averaging 17.7, 2.8 and 5.3 per game, respectively. Armstrong was named an all-tournament selection in the Comet Classic, scoring a game high 15 points in the title game, leading her team to a win. On the brink of scoring her 1,000th career point, the three-year starter is thankful for the progress she's made to get to where she is.
