3 Big Reasons Water is Important
Dehydration is one of the most common health problems we all face. Of course, hot summer weather can make this problem worse. This morning we have Dr. Bill Hemmer of the Tuscola Pain and Wellness Center here to explain why water is so important to our health and some simple things you can do to stay hydrated during the upcoming summer season.
1) Dehydration causes your muscles to cramp. This is one of the first signs of dehydration.
2) Dehydration causes your joints to get stiff and sore.
3) Dehydration causes your brain misfire and not to work the way it should.
You should drink half of your body weight in ounces of water per day. Also, you should use sea salt on your food to help your body hold onto the water you bring in.
