The Krannert Center Youth Series 2019-20 Season Preview is teachers’ first opportunity to reserve tickets for performances that will take place next school year. It’s also a fantastic Educator Appreciation event where we can show a little love to central Illinois teachers, administrators and youth advocates.
Please share four talking points or subjects you would like included in the interview. (NOTE: These should be “big picture” points that give context to the interview).
1: The Krannert Center Youth Series offers school-day performances for students Preschool through High School, and is open to public, private, and home schools.
2: Our 2019-20 season features ten professional touring artist companies from all over the globe, performing music, theatre, and dance works from many different traditions.
3: The arts are for everyone. We look for work that is meaningful for young people. Getting students, teachers, and parents together for shared experiences in the arts is a powerful way of creating connections.
4: At the Season Preview, teachers can find out about additional arts and cultural programming from University of Illinois partners such as the Krannert Art Museum, CU Symphony Youth Concerts, and the Spurlock Museum of World Cultures.
