Kitchen Confidence: Pizza Crust

Adam Wisnewski from Breakfast, Life and Dinner stops by the Morning Show for this week’s Kitchen Confidence had explains how to make your own pizza dough.

Pizza Dough Crust

*Ingredients

1 pkg Quick Yeast

1 cup lukewarm water

1 tsp salt

2 TB veg oil

1 TB honey

2 1/2 cups flour

Mix yeast and water, mix remaining ingredients

Let rise 15-20 min

Bake at 450 for 12 min

*Prep ’em!

Turn on the stove to 450 degrees

Water should be around 100 degrees – like a comfortable shower, not hot enough to make you yank your hand out of the stream

Mix yeast in and give it a minute to dissolve

Mix in the remaining ingredients

Set aside the bowl for 15-20 min

Prep pizza toppings

*Cook ’em!

Flatten or roll or toss pizza to a thin crust

Top pizza quickly

Bake at 450 for 12-15 min
