Giving Back: Crisis Nursery – Children’s Holiday Shop

Angie Hatfield-Marker and Renae Kirkton from the Crisis Nursery join the Morning Show and in this week’s Giving Back they are in search of volunteers for their holiday shop.

Hundreds of children come through the annual children’s holiday shop, volunteers are needed to help children navigate the shop and pick out a gift for their loved ones on their list.  The shop allows children to shop for gifts for their families and friends. volunteers assist children, toddlers through 12 years of age to buy quality items all priced under $10.

They are having a coloring contest for grades K-5, one winner from each grade level will get a holiday shop voucher to spend at the shop.  Ages 13 and above are able to volunteer at the Lincoln Square Mall in the old art mart space.  It will be happening from December 2-9 and the times varies depending on date.
