Jill Rannebarger and Lony Folts, volunteers with the American Cancer Society, join the Morning Show to discuss a few of the organization’s upcoming fundraisers.
March 31 – Burpees For A Cure, 11:30am to 12:30pm – at mLAB Fitness. Participants will obtain sponsors to raise money for how many burpees they can do in an hour – or flat donation.
March 31 – Scavenger Hunt for A Cure – Meet at Hessel Park, Champaign at beginning and end of hunt, teams of 1-4 people will ride in a car and find various places on the scavenger hunt list – team with the highest score wins
April 7, RoyalTea party – princess(es), prince, king and queen will entertain the guests. A Herold will announcing participants, everyone will walk the red carpet, sing a long with some Disney songs, dance with the Beast from Beauty and the beast, Adult coloring book made from bookplates supplied by local resident, Gretchen Potter. Refreshments will be available – an actual tea. Four American Girl Dolls will be raffled! Held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, corner of Prospect and Devonshire in Champaign.
