3 Minute Grill: Cajun Shrimp

3 min grill: shrimp part 2

Adam Wisnewski joins us from Breakfast, Life & Dinner to make some grilled Cajun shrimp. 

Recipe: 

Grilled Cajun Shrimp

Ingredients

    2 garlic clove

    1 teaspoon salt

    ½ teaspoon cayenne

    1 teaspoon paprika

    1 tablespoon lime juice

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    fresh ground black pepper

    1 lb peeled shrimp

 

Dipping Sauce

    2 tablespoons parsley

    6 tablespoons butter

 

Preheat broiler

Place rack slightly farther than usual broiling (6-7″ instead of 4-5″)

Mash garlic clove and salt to make a paste

Add all other ingredients

Toss shrimp in paste

Broil shrimp in oven safe pan, 3-4 minutes per side. (Be gentle with shrimp, don’t overcook!)

Set cooked shrimp aside 

Put sauce ingredients in hot pan to melt butter

 

Serve shrimp with dipping sauce and lime wedges.
