DECATUR — The St. Teresa Bulldogs will play for a state title Friday, their first title appearance in 3 decades.
“We’ve always grown up together and that just helps the chemistry. We’re a family, not just a bunch of individuals like we have been in the past,” said senior Nick Kemper.
“We’ve really grown since then. We realized that we’re not the best team out there but we’re really good and we have the chance to beat everybody we play but there’s still teams out there that can beat us,” Simon Brinkoetter added. “So it really showed us what we can do this season and how far we can go.”
St. Teresa will play Forreston on Friday morning at 10 a.m. at Memorial Stadium.
