Purdue wins back-to-back games to sweep series over Illinois


CHAMPAIGN (WCIA) — Purdue swept the series over Illini baseball on Monday afternoon, with the Illini losing 20-6 in the finale.

The Illini scored a pair of runs in the fourth inning with a 2 RBI single from Kellen Sarver, they got four more in the seventh inning, but Purdue’s 20 runs were too big of a deficit to climb out of.
