CHAMPAIGN — The Parkland women’s basketball team is on a roll after its biggest win of the year. The Cobras (12-4) knocked off No. 4 Kankakee earlier this week, avenging an earlier loss to the Cavaliers this season.
“We’re getting in a rhythm now,” Parkland head coach Mike Lindemann said. “We’re starting to play better. We’re buying into the defense a little more.”
“The goal is definitely to win Region and get to Nationals and I think we have the team to do it, we just have to play our game,” Parkland sophomore Layne Buzan said.
