Nebraska expects good D-line play from Illini

Sports

LINCOLN — Illinois is preparing to face Nebraska, and Nebraska is preparing to face Illinois. Part of those preps for the Cornhuskers is handling a big Illini defensive line.

“Their defensive front is the best one we will have faced so far,” Nebraska head coach Mike Riley said. “We had trouble with their defensive end, number 91 (Dawuane Smoot) a year ago and he’s back and they’ve got two defensive ends that are good. Their defensive tackles are good players so their front will be tough.”

The game kicks off at 2:30 on Saturday afternoon, it’s on ESPN2.
