McCoy named semifinalist for national award


CHAMPAIGN — St. Thomas More senior Tori McCoy has been chosen as one of ten semifinalists for the Naismith Player of the Year.  The award goes to the best boy and girl high school basketball player in the country.

The Ohio State signee is averaging 19.6 points per game this season for the Sabers, who start play in the Class 3A playoffs next week.
