(WCIA) — Offensive lineman Ted Karras and safety Clayton Fejedelem were named two of the eight captains for the Miami Dolphins. For both guys, this is their first season with the team.
Karras and Fejedelem both played for the Illini, and were drafted in the 2016 NFL Draft. Karras was selected as an offensive line captain, while Fejedelem is one of two special teams captains. Before Miami, Karras was a two-time Superbowl champion with the New England Patriots. He started 15 games for the Patriots last season. Fejedelem started his rookie season with the Cincinnati Bengals where he appeared in all 16 games and recorded three total tackles.
