James Johnson named head coach for Parkland College Women’s Soccer


CHAMPAIGN (WCIA) — After a nine year stint as the Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer head coach at St. Thomas More, James Johnson has been named the Women’s Soccer Head Coach at Parkland College.

With the Sabres, Johnson led both programs to a combined 8 conference titles, 12 regional titles, 9 sweet-sixteen titles, and three sectional titles. As a 4-time Coach of the Year, his 2015 Girls’ team won a fourth place trophy at the 1A State Tournament.
