Report: Boyd suspended

CHAMPAIGN (WCIA) — Illinois sophomore offensive lineman Larry Boyd has been suspended indefnitely for a violation of team rules, according to a report from 247Sports and Illini Inquirer.

The St. Louis native played in all 12 games for the Illini last season as a true freshman, starting nine times. A school spokesperson said: ‘We’re not confirming or commenting on the Twitter reports from last night.”
