Illinois softball snaps losing streak, beats DePaul

URBANA (WCIA) — Illinois scored six runs in the fourth inning on its way to a 7-0 win over DePaul on Tuesday afternoon at Eichelberger Field. The game was called after five innings due to poor weather in the area. The win snaps an eight-game losing streak for the Illini (28-22), as they close out the regular season at home this weekend hosting Purdue for three, starting Friday night at 5 p.m.
