Illini women’s gymnastics comes in 2nd in first home meet


CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Coming off one of their best seasons in recent years, the Illini women’s gymnastics team was back in Huff Hall Sunday for the first time in the 2019 season.

The Illini came in 2nd, behind Oregon State, in the quad-meet. Beating #7 Kentucky and Lindenwood.

An Illini individual won three of the four events. Mary Jane Otto won the balance beam and parallel bars, while Kylie Noonan took the floor routine.
