INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WCIA) — He’s the best player in the state of Illinois in the class of 2020, and the Illini are right at the top of the list for Morgan Park guard Adam Miller.
Miller leads his Mac Irvin Fire team scoring 16.1 points per game on the EYBL circuit, helping them to a 7-1 record. This weekend he listed Illinois along with Kansas, Wake Forest, Arizona State, and Louisville as schools that contact him the most. Adding he’s keeping an eye on what former Morgan Park teammate Ayo Dosunmu is doing at Illinois.
“My life is going to be in their hands. I’ve got to make the best of what I have so that’s really going to be a big things for me. So I just want to watch these schools so hopefully when I get there I have a perfect chance to get to the NBA and be a better me,” Miller said. “I might not be as tall as him but I’m strong and I can guard 1 through 3 whenever I need to, I can pick up any body so really that’s a big thing for me. Being able to guard and having mismatches on the floor.”
He said he plans to trim his list down this summer and hopes to schedule some official visits.
