Illini looking to put back to back B1G wins together

Illini

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — They haven’t had the chance since February of last season, but the Illini can win back to back Big Ten games if they beat Iowa on Sunday.

“I thought we were the agressors against Minnesota. We have to try to establish that mentality again,” Brad Underwood said. “Iowa is very. very good at putting pressure on you, like Minnesota is in transition, and we’ve got to do our job early, and not let them get to their places.”

“I mean we enjoyed our win, for a certain moment, but then we got to lock back in, you have to lock in. That was one win, we just have to look forward,” Giorgi Bezhanishvili said. “Iowa next game, we look at it the same as we looked at the Minnesota game. It’s a must win game, we just play hard and get the win.”

It’s a noon tip off from Iowa City on Sunday.
