CHAMPAIGN (WCIA) — A week off between games is giving Illinois basketball a chance to reflect and correct their mistakes before turning their attention to Missouri and the annual Braggin’ Rights game.
“It was actually really nice to not focus on anybody but ourselves,” Illinois head coach Brad Underwood said, referring to the last few days off. “We’ve done nothing but shoot a lot of balls and try to really clean up a lot of little things that we haven’t done well.”
Illinois has won four straight games in the Border Wars series. The game is sold out for the first time since 2013 and tips off at 7 p.m. Saturday night.
