CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Illini are improving on both ends of the floor, and that’s without their full offense installed.
Illinois has look much better since their loss at home to Florida Atlantic. We’ve all seen the lob plays that the Illini run, and the back door cuts with the dribble hand off, but Brad Underwood says there is plenty more in his playbook that he has yet to show off.
“We’re very basic. When we can become, we have a lot of similarities with Michigan offensively, same set, a lot of the same actions, look for the same things… the difference is you never see, very seldom do you see them make a call,” Underwood said. “Do we have enough stuff in? I don’t know. But we don’t have, we sure got a lot more options to keep going with. But we can’t overwhelm them either.”
Illinois host Minnesota on Wednesday.
