Annual Illini Jock Jams raises money for charity

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Each Illini sports showed off their talent off the court or field Monday night at the annual Jock Jams.

The night was hosted by soccer goalie Jaelyn Cunningham and men’s basketball player Giorgi Bezhanishvili.

Judges were volleyball coach Chris Tamas, golf coach Mike Small, Marching Illini director Barry Houser, Miss Illinois Grace Khatchaturian, and Andrea Sullivan from Feeding Our Kids.

This years charities were Feeding Our Kids, Childhood Leukemia Foundation, Luke Tatsu Johnson Foundation, and Athletes Against Anxiety and Depression.

Over the last nine years, the Illini have raised more than $111,000.

Illinois track and field and cross country won the title this year.
