Teutopolis, Pleasant Plains set to face off for 2A state title

PLEASANT PLAINS-

PEORIA, Ill. (WCIA) — They’re two of the most storied high school baseball programs in Illinois, now they’re set to face each other with a state championship on the line.

Pleasant Plains beat Aurora Christian 6-3 on Friday to punch their ticket. Teutopolis took down Rock Island Alleman 7-2 to claim their spot.

It’s set for a 5:00 first pitch from Dozer Park in Peoria.
