(WCIA) — Champaign Centennial Head Football Coach Lekevie Johnson resigned on Wednesday.

Johnson has coached the Chargers for four seasons, leading them to a playoff appearance in 2015. He says spending more time with his family was an important factor in the decision making process, but says he will miss working with student-athletes.
