(WCIA) — Eastern Illinois is heading to the NCAA softball tournament for the first time in program history after winning the OVC tournament. The Panthers will head to the Evanston Regional where they’ll face 12th seed and Big Ten regular season champs and tournament champs Northwestern. Kentucky and Miami Ohio are also in the Regional.
The Regional will take place May 19-21.
