DANVILLE — An area woman celebrated her 100th birthday.
Ruth Becker lives at the Liberty Estates. Friday, she became a century old. Family and friends attended her party, plus she got 170 cards from friends around the country.
Ruth spent most of her life in Paris. She worked in a courthouse, as a secretary at a school and eventually owned a grocery store with her husband.
She offered a few tips for living to be 100. Ruth was a line dancer and swimmer. She still dances to this day.
