White supports license legislation

ILLINOIS — Secretary of State Jesse White supports legislation to use private funds to pay for vehicle registration reminders.

The legislation would allow the state to advertise on the reminders and use the money to pay for postage.

Secretary White’s office expects the legislation to pass since it would not cost the state any additional money.

White’s office says the goal is to minimize inconvenience to the public.
