What’s Happening: Tuscola Sparks in the Park

Ashley Mattingly, Miss Tuscola 2017 joins Alex Corradetti to sit down and talk about Tuscola’s Sparks in the Park Event this Saturday July 8th. 
 
Highlights of the day:
All American Lumberjack Show:
(FREE)
Dueling lumberjacks, chain saw carving, log rolling 3:30 and 8
Special kids camp with the lumberjacks at 1pm.

KidTown Tuscola:
(FREE)
11am- 1pm
KidTown is an interactive children’s exhibit, where they will learn what daily tasks are done to keep our city running efficiently! Kids will get to experience and perform tasks of the different departments of City Hall.  They will even get to meet Mayor Kleiss! The Tuscola Fire Department will also have a Junior Fire Academy! Kids will get to perform tasks, just like our local fire department, to become Junior Firefighters!  After completing all the stations, kids will get to try out the Mayor’s seat and an honorary key to the city.  
Also inflatables and face painting
 
Car Show:
12pm-4pm

Registration is $10 for entries.  (Free to spectators)

Bummer cars, zip lining, and obstacle course are all FREE!
