Village board approves new software to flag police activity

RANTOUL, Ill. (WCIA)- The Rantoul village board approved a new software system to help flag unusual activity with police officers.

This will show a range of trends from use of force to consecutive sick days. This allows for Rantoul police to catch a problem at an early stage and make changes. Police are planning to install the system within the next few months.
