SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (NEXSTAR) — University of Illinois System President Timothy Killeen said he was happy with Governor Pritzker’s budget proposal, which includes a seven percent increase to the university’s budget.
He said they are still asking for a 10 percent increase.
Killeen joined Capitol Connection host Cole Henke to discuss the governor’s pitch and the state of college tuition prices in Illinois.
