DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — A report from The Chicago Tribune revealed two pharmacists were fired in central Illinois after misusing vaccines.

It happened at Memorial Health System in Decatur in December. The report said emails from IDPH showed a pharmacist took vaccines home for family and “pooled doses” in Pfizer vials to get more out of them.

The pharmacists were not named.
