Town to get new traffic signals for railroad crossing

BEMENT, Ill. (WCIA) — There will be new lights and pedestrian gates at Piatt Street and Sangamon Street in Bement.

The warning devices will be more than $950,000. Representative Dan Caulkins’ (R-Decatur) office said the expected day for completion will be 18 months after the order date.
