CHAMPAIGN — Police want help identifying an armed robbery suspect. It happened about 2 am, Thursday, February 23, at Circle K, in the 1300-block of South Neil Street.
The suspect entered the business with a tire iron concealed under a blanket and demanded money.
The suspect is described as a man, black, about 30-years old, 5’9″, 190 lbs. He was wearing a hoop earring in his right ear, a black ball cap, gray shirt and black pants.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. Tipsters are always 100% completely anonymous.
