Suspects sought for motor vehicle burglary

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY — This week, police are investigating a burglary to a motor vehicle. It happened about 7:45 am, Wednesday, August 17, in the 1200-block of Dorie Miller Drive, in Champaign.

The victim reported her purse was taken from her vehicle while it was in her driveway. The purse was found, but her wallet was missing.

It was later learned her debit card had been used at Circle K, in the 1500-block of North Lincoln, Urbana. Two suspects are seen on surveillance video just before transactions were made on her debit card. 

Offender one is described as a black man, 16 – 25 years old, with black hair and a medium build. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, dark pants and shoes.

Offender two is described as a black man, 16 – 30 years old, with black and brown, shoulder-length hair in braids with a thin-to-medium build. He was wearing a white, or light-colored t-shirt, sweatpants and shoes.
