DANVILLE, Ill. — The Correctional Center staff delivered a truckload of pumpkins to Mark Denman Elementary School Friday.
The pumpkins were planted and harvested by men incarcerated at the facility, according to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
The school plans to host a fun pumpkin decorating contest for its students.
