SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon said the preliminary autopsy results of Edwin Bartosh suggest that Bartosh died from multiple blunt force injuries he sustained in the crash.
Allmon and the Illinois State Police are continuing to investigate the incident that resulted in Bartosh’s death.
SPRINGFIELD, Il. (WCIA) — The Sangamon County Coroner has identified the man hit by a vehicle on Saturday as 48-year-old Edwin Bartosh.
The coroner says it happened on I-55 near mile marker 96.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday and the death remains under investigation by the coroner and Illinois State Police.
