Recreational dispensary ordinance headed to city council

DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — The city is one step closer to getting a recreational marijuana dispensary. The Planning and Zoning committee voted to recommend it to the council Thursday night.

It would be on Lynch Road between Highway 136 and I-74.

The ordinance will be taken to the council on November 19. Danville already voted to allow sales and a three percent tax on marijuana.
