EFFINGHAM COUNTY — An early Halloween prank backfired for a local man.
Nathaniel Followell was arrested for disorderly conduct in Altamont Friday.
A mother and child reported him to police after seeing him wearing a clown mask and carrying a chainsaw.
Followell told police it was meant to be a joke for his employer.
