URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — One person was shot and taken to the hospital Monday night.
It happened on Cottage Grove near Crestview Park. Police were called around 6:30 pm. The area near Cottage Grove Apartments was blocked off while officials were investigating.
Police say the victim was a male, but did not give his age or name. They also said his injuries were not life-threatening. No one has been arrested.
