Walmart evacuated for bomb threat

News

URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — Police were called to Walmart on Wednesday afternoon for a bomb threat.

The store was evacuated around 4 p.m. and cleared just after 5 p.m. A sergeant says the threat that was called in was determined to be a hoax. A bomb-sniffing dog did not find anything inside. Police are now trying to figure out who called.

This is a developing story.
