Munger’s former employees find jobs

Munger Pension Delay

ILLINOIS — Some former employees of Comptroller Leslie Munger’s administration have found jobs working for Governor Bruce Rauner.

His office confirmed 23 employees, previously on payroll by the comptroller, will now work in various offices under the governor.

Some jobs were obtained at the Department of Central Management Services and Department of Healthcare and Family Services.

Many received a pay increase from their former positions. No new jobs were created.

Governor Rauner’s office says they have reduced the amount money spent on employee’s paychecks compared to the Governor Quinn’s administration.
