SHELBY COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — A person was killed Thursday afternoon after their motorcycle was hit by a car. It happened on County Road 1945 East at Route 16.
Police said 28-year-old Dustin Haun was at a stop sign when he pulled out and hit the motorcyclist. That person’s name hasn’t been released.
Haun was ticketed for not yielding.
