CHARLESTON, Ill. (WCIA) — Charleston Middle School is hosting their community Veterans Day event on Monday.
They are kicking things off with coffee and doughnuts for veterans. Then the community assembly program will start at 9:30 a.m. in the school’s gym. It will end with small breakout events for students to interact with those who have served. Veterans and their families are invited to attend.
