MACON COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — The Macon County Health Department reported 78 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday.
In a news release, health department officials said there is a total of 2,195 COVID-19 cases in Macon County, including 48 deaths. Of those total cases, 1,136 people were released from isolation and 992 are still in isolation.
Currently, there are 19 residents hospitalized with the virus.
