Man pleads not guilty to arson charges

DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — A man accused of setting a house on fire pleaded not guilty.

Witnesses said they saw Michael Dixon near the scene of the fire along Route 121 in December. The house was set on fire two times. No one was hurt, but officials said the house was destroyed.

On Wednesday, Dixon pleaded not guilty to arson charges. He is expected back in court on February 26.
