DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — A woman is speaking out after being hit in the face multiple times in what she calls a “road rage” incident. Shelby Solgard says it happened on Western Avenue, Sunday.

She was driving near the Black Bear Bar and Grill when a car traveled close to her bumper. After honking and hand gestures were exchanged, the neon orange car passed her. She later saw it parked diagonally in the middle of the road.

When she tried to pass, a lady came up to her window and started hitting her. Her 3-month old baby was in the backseat. Solgard drove to her mother’s house and called the police. She said she was told the woman was arrested.
