ILLINOIS (WCIA) — In the wake of a series of tragic accidents on state highways which have claimed the lives of three state troopers, state workers wore orange Wednesday.
It’s to remind drivers to slow down. IDOT, ISP and several other groups joined for “Drive Like You Work Here” week.
The campaign is meant to remind drivers of the construction workers, police and others who work along state roadways.
