CHAMPAIGN-URBANA — The University of Illinois made its final touches for this year’s spring commencement.
Friday the sounds of the ceremonies could be heard at Memorial Stadium.
The 150th campus wide ceremony will kick off at 9:30 A.M.
Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman, a 1993 Illini alumni ,is the commencement speaker.
More than 5,000 students are expected to graduate with 20,000 family and friends in the stands.
