UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS (WCIA) — The UI’s hockey coach has been named as assistant to the U.S. Men’s National University Hockey Team.
Nick Fabbrini will be with the team when it heads to the 2019 Winter World University in Russia. Those games take place starting March 2, 2019.
Starting his seventh season with the Illini, his orange and blue team went to the league championship game last season. The Illini open the season Friday against Michigan State.
