UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS — A Champaign man faces multiple charges.

25-year old Broderick White was arrested about 2:15 am, Sunday, near 2nd and John streets. He’s accused of delivering cannabis and obstructing identification.

Police say he was stopped for failing to yield to oncoming traffic while making a turn. A K-9 officer indicated there were drugs in the car.

Officers found eight individually-wrapped packages of cannabis in White’s pocket. He was also wanted on two outstanding warrants from Champaign County and Rantoul for failure to appear in court.
